Bimmah Sinkhole is one of the most famous traveling destinations in Oman. It is also close to the city center. The place is known for its opal colored water. The sinkhole was formed hundreds of years ago from the surface layer falling due to the limestones underneath.

People can swim here and jump from the wall to flip in the water or just normally enjoy the view of ‘the deep well of falling star’. The best time to visit Bimmah is after a long hiking trip because it is a place for instant relaxation.

There is no public transport available to get around this place, so travelers need to hire a taxi or drive their own vehicle. To remain more relaxed, travelers can hire a local guide to travel around the area. Basic facilities like toilets, changing areas, and washrooms are available here as well.
